At The Stewartry Veterinary Centre, we offer a full range of vet services for horses, including:

At The Stewartry Veterinary Centre, we offer annual vaccinations against flu and tetanus. All horses should be protected against both these diseases. If you have any questions or to book your horse's booster, please get in touch.
In addition, we offer passport and microchipping services as all horses in the UK are now legally required to have a passport. Please speak to us about signing your horse out of the food chain on your passport.
Using the Care about Cushing's website, we can offer a free annual blood test to all horses to monitor for PPID. Speak to us about arranging your test if you have any concerns.
We’re there when you need us, should you require an out-of-hours vet for any emergency. We also have a large animal treatment room at our Castle Douglas Surgery and are members of the British Equine Veterinary Association.
